Fresh Spinach Spätzle

Fresh Spinach Spätzle narrate the authentic taste and tradition of South Tyrol. We prepare them with 100 percent Italian spinach; they are a great alternative to classic potato gnocchi and a tantalizing idea for a side dish.

No preservatives, no additives, no flavorings. We do not use potato flakes or starch, only fresh steamed potatoes.

Ingredients

Wheat flour, spinach 30%, water, eggs, salt, sunflower seed oil (sprinkled on surface).

Contains: wheat (gluten), eggs, and may contain traces of soy.

How to cook them

Cooking in pot

Pour in boiled and salted water. Cook for around 1 minute and as soon as they emerge, pick them up with a slotted spoon.

Directly in the pan

Prepare a slightly watery sauce and add the gnocchi straight from the package. Cook on a steady flame for a few minutes and gently stir until the sauce has sufficiently thickened.
